In honor of Dr. Danny R. Mitchell, Sr. contributions to the City of Shreveport and the State of Louisiana, a dedication service was held in his honor. The City Council dedicated the 3700 and 3800 blocks of Dilg League Drive, between Jewella Avenue and Lakeshore Drive. This dedication service was held, Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 12 noon.
